HELP THE HUNGRY BY DINING OUT!
Every year for Thanksgiving in February close to 100 restaurants in Montgomery County, Maryland join together to support the hunger relief work of local nonprofit agencies by contributing a percentage of their sales. For over 20 years, Thanksgiving in February has helped to raise funds that feed our hungry neighbors. Funds raised go to support 10 Montgomery County agencies providing food and grocery money to those in need.
Join us on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at a participating restaurant of your choice! The restaurants listed on the "Where To Eat" page will donate up to 20% of their February 17th receipts to support agencies in Montgomery County that are working to help those in need.
If you can't join us at a participating restaurant but would like to support this great cause, you can help by sending a tax-deductible contribution to THANKSGIVING IN FEBRUARY, c/o Interfaith Works, 114 W.
