Every year, Interfaith Works coordinates Thanksgiving in February on behalf of all the beneficiary organizations. Interfaith Works is a nonprofit agency that has been serving low-income and homeless Montgomery County residents for over 35 years. Bethesda Cares: Community outreach for the homeless in Bethesda, MD.
Bethesda HELP: Immediate short-term assistance to residents in Montgomery County, MD
Community Vision: Daytime homeless outreach center and seasonal emergency homeless shelter managed by Interfaith Works and located in Silver Spring, MD.
Damascus HELP: Immediate short-term assistance to residents in Upper Montgomery County, MD.
Gaithersburg HELP: Immediate short-term assistance in Gaithersburg, MD.
Germantown HELP: Immediate short-term assistance in Germantown, MD.
Interfaith Works: Managing organization of Thanksgiving in February. Provides shelter, housing, food, clothing, emergency assistance, vocational services and supportive services to homeless and low-income Montgomery County residents.
Manna Food Center: The County’s central food distribution center, which provides emergency food to those in need as well as to other local nonprofit agencies.
Mid-County United Ministries: Immediate short-term assistance to residents in Wheaton, Aspen Hill, and Kensington.
Olney HELP: Immediate short-term assistance in Olney, Brookeville, Brinklow, and Sandy Spring, and Ashton, MD.
Rockville HELP: Immediate short-term assistance in Rockville.
WUMCO HELP: Immediate short-term assistance to residents of Burtonsville, Damascus and Poolesville.
