ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is take your family and friends and dine out on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at a participating restaurant. These restaurants will donate a percentage of their receipts to “Thanksgiving in February.”
All proceeds are distributed among the following non-profit organizations, which provide food to our hungry neighbors.

- Bethesda, Chevy Chase
- Damascus, Laytonsville
- Germantown, Gaithersburg
- Olney, Burtonsville
- Rockville, Potomac, Poolesville
- Silver Spring, Wheaton, Takoma Park, Kensington
Each restaurant’s listing includes the location and phone number, the amount of your check that will be donated, and the meals that are offered (breakfast, lunch, and dinner.) Perhaps you could eat all three meals out that day?
DID YOU KNOW that last year 150,000 Montgomery County residents turned to our local food bank for emergency food assistance, half of whom are children? Over 40,000 public school children, nearly 1 in 3, are at-risk for hunger and qualify to get free and reduced meals at school. When schools close for snow days, these children may go without food.
